CAF and Total Energies extend partnership for four years
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has signed a four-year extension to its partnership with its primary sponsor, Total Energies, which will run from 2025 to 2028.
The agreement was signed today, January 28, 2025, at the Hyatt Hotel in Dar es Salaam.
Speaking after the signing, CAF President Dr. Patrice Motsepe expressed his pride in having Wallace Karia, President of CECAFA and TFF, present, noting that the results have been impressive.
Dr. Motsepe highlighted that significant progress has been made in developing youth and women's football, with notable success in school competitions for both boys and girls.
"This agreement will provide support for various national competitions, particularly with Tanzania set to host the CHAN tournament this August and the AFCON in 2027," Dr. Motsepe said.
Total Energies has been a key sponsor for a number of CAF competitions, including the CAF Champions League, the Confederation Cup, and the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
